Today is the day of sorrow nd grief fr all of us .
It a matter of great sorrow that the recent flood has washed away 4 college girls at bhadrote Sartingal out of which three girls were rescued by villagers but one idenfied as Sheetal Bharti student of BA prt 1 is washed away
According to information the girls were going to college . On crossing the temporary wooden bridge that was completly damaged all of them were felll into the water nd were eroded away.
The worst condition of bridge is not the reason fr this painful tragedy but it is our Indolent adminstration that is directly or indirectly responisble for this tragedy because such an accident happend a few years ago on the same spot but no required steps were taken by Govt at that time .
If the bridge was constructedearlier, it would nvr hppnd dat has hppnd today.
The worst condition of wooden bridge shows the slothfullness of the concerned authorities/adminstration .
I m nt of the view to Arraign/Indict anyone fr what has hppnd today but
I only want to Apprise that only a single bridge can definetly save precious lives there infuture .
There is a great need of the bridge to be buit there . As the river Neeru flows through the village, many people including students have to cross it everyday either to go to market or go to schools .It is dangerous to students to cross the river during rainy season . So the construction of a bridge over the river at the very spot is mandatory .
This type of accidents may happen at any timein future ,so all the responsible adminstration and concerned authorities instead of showing sympathhy nd expressing grief on the vry matter are requested kindly to take immediate steps related to construction of bridge over the river Neeru at the said spot to save the precious lives of the area in future.
It is also requested to the concerned authorities to release immediate exagratia relief to all the deceased families as soon as possible .
